In our view taxes and carbon trades and carbon taxes are complementary instruments. Process, and particularly managed and just transitions towards a carbon price is critical. We can learn that much from Australia, but intersting to see WWF's statement ahead of the Budget Speech keeping the issue on the radar. Of course not everyone agrees. Industry has already voiced concerns.

But when I read that the same industry leaders have just admitted to price fixing.

- a crime that is jailable in the US - then I know who I would rather take advice frrm as we try and secure an economic future for the country.
